Juneau is the capital of Alaska, although not for long if Anchorage has anything to say about it. The setting here is probably the most spectacular capital city in North America. There are some stunning views from the top of Mount Roberts via the tram. This is the sort of place where you need to spend a lot more time than the 8 hours we were alloted. Although the weather was perfect for us, most of the locals were complaining about the heat! After all it was actually in the 70s!
